Privacy Statement

In this privacy statement you can read how Like Dreaming handles personal data. In doing so, I observe the basic principles (transparency) of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation, May 2016). I respect your privacy both as a visitor to the website and as a user of my services and products. I do my utmost to protect that privacy.

1. Responsibility

Like Dreaming Kinderslaapcoaching, situated in The Hague, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement.

2. Personal Data

Like Dreaming processes your personal data because you use my services, visit the website and/or because you provide this information to me yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data that I process:

First and last name (if provided);

Email address (if provided);

Other personal data that you actively provide (for example by completing the intake form, in correspondence and by telephone);

Location data and IP address;

Information about your activities on this website and surfing behavior;

Internet browser and device type.

3. Special and/or sensitive personal data

Personal information is never collected automatically. Certain non-personal information may be collected through the standard operation of Internet servers. Think of your IP address. The various mailing lists, downloads, forms and more ask you to provide information such as your name and email address. Only the information that is necessary to provide you is requested here. Personal information is never sold to third parties.

Concerning Payments: Your payment information is not stored except as necessary to make the payment and honor the rights and obligations of the transaction. Payments may or may not go through an external payment provider, so that the payment information is not visible to me in some cases. Just that you paid.

This website does not intend to collect special or sensitive personal data. Special personal data are data about, for example, your race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union, data about your health, data about your sexual behavior or sexual orientation, genetic or biometric data with a view to unique identification of a natural person.

4. Data from persons under the age of 16

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us at vanessa@likedreaming.com and we will delete this information.

When providing some services, such as the consultation, I ask you to fill in an intake form. With the explicit permission of the parents/guardian, I sometimes process data of the baby or child in the special category (such as medical background and health). I need this information to do my job as well as possible. Of course, all rights for the data subjects as referred to in Article 9 also apply here.

 5. Processing of personal data

Like Dreaming collects and processes your personal data in various ways;

Direct contact: you provide personal data by filling in a form on this website or by communication via regular mail, telephone, email or otherwise, also if you:

purchase a service;

You sign up for a newsletter or request a publication;

You sign up for certain marketing communications;

give me feedback.

Indirect contact: by means of (Facebook) pixels or analytical software, (anonymous) data is stored when you visit our website. Your behavior on the website is analyzed in order to improve the website and to tailor the range of products and services to your preferences.

Like Dreaming also processes personal data if I am legally obliged to do so, such as data that I need for my tax return.

6. Sharing personal data with third parties and automated decision-making

Like Dreaming can use the following computer programs or systems:

The website, autoresponder and online library.

Instagram – social network and advertising channel

Facebook – social network and advertising channel

Google Analytics – to gain insight into website visitors

A virtual assistant that helps, among other things, to send newsletters, manage the website and deliver products and services.

Consultations are processed in Microsoft Word and/or Excel and/or Google Docs and converted to Adobe Acrobat and stored in the personal, secure folders.

My possible bookkeeper and/or website host

Your data can be collected and shared with the above processors. A number of processors may be (partly) located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), but then mainly fall under the EU-US Privacy Shield. This obliges them to offer very strict (controlled) protection of personal data.

7. Retention of Personal Data

Like Dreaming does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. You can unsubscribe from the mailings at any time via the button in the registration confirmation or via the link under each email.

At a consultation:

When a consultation takes place, I keep your name and e-mail address as well as the intake for four months after the consultation. This way I can also help you with a possible follow-up. The consent form goes into the archive in a secure folder. When you unsubscribe or when the consultation period has ended, your data will be removed from my file. Unless you are a customer, then I will not send you any more e-mails in the future, but I will keep your invoice and customer data in connection with this. my legal obligations (7 years) to the tax authorities. This data will be deleted by me within 1 year after the expiry of this obligation.

8. Cookies, or similar techniques, that I use

Like Dreaming uses functional, technical and analytical (Google Analytics) Cookies. In the future, tracking (Facebook) cookies and cookies that track your surfing behavior may be added. In this way we can offer customized content and advertisements. A cookie is a small file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) black in this copy.
